A bold new downtown where families, neighbors and visitors from across the region come together for game nights, concerts, festivals, shopping, dining and everyday moments.
What Downtown Dova means for the people who live and work in Rancho Cordova.
Downtown Dova will be a central gathering place for Rancho Cordova and the permanent home of two professional soccer teams. It brings new dining, retail, a movie theater, sports, and places to gather close to home, so residents can enjoy a great night out without leaving their community.
For young people and families, Downtown Dova means youth tournaments, camps, and school partnerships, along with early exposure to future career paths. For the local economy, it means construction jobs followed by permanent operating jobs, with room for local vendors and apprenticeships to grow alongside the district.
Downtown Dova will also draw visitors from across the Sacramento region for sports, concerts, conferences and overnight stays that support local hotels and businesses. As the permanent home of two pro arena soccer teams, along with festivals, music, and public art, it will be a place where sports and culture come together year-round.
Dova is a mixed-use downtown built in phases. The arena and the plaza come first; hotels, retail, dining and residences follow.
